Charities and VAT
By Miranda | October 6, 2009
We are often asked if VAT is due on products being printed on behalf of a charity. The simple answer is that we always have to charge VAT on postcards, stationery, posters, folders and business cards. However, the HM Revenues & Customs website provides clear and uncomplicated information specifically for charities and not-for-profit organisations that explains exactly how the VAT can be claimed back.
