Here is a link to a great website that is all about paper.  OK, I agree that does sound dull.  But this site has lots of facts and info and is generally great to look at.  The site is owned by Domtar Paper, a US based paper manufacturer specialising in uncoated materials. The Domtar campaign is to remind people just how much we use paper and how much value paper has to us in many different areas.  Thought provoking and innovative - see what you think.

The great advantage to digital printing is that it is the perfect medium for experimenting with.  These digitally printed cards are part of a run of several designs, a few of each, to see what works best and become most popular in terms of sales.  Our digital printing is now done on a brand new Xerox DC8080 which eats up this type of work as a snack!  We know that digital print quality has improved dramatically over the years - so dip a toe in the water and get a few of your designs printed.  Who knows, it may lead on to something big!

Although we do not publish these on our website we are often required to quote perfect bound booklet printing.  Perfect bound booklets are when the loose text pages are glued in to the spine of the cover, rather than being stapled down the centre.

We've just done this flyer printing for a very well known London cathedral (!).  Printed on 100% recycled board this folded flyer is used as a marketing tool to publish the key dates for the Easter calendar.  

Our flyer printing is done using vegetable oil based inks and is printed on alcohol free presses.  This lovely photograph is really inviting and shows this wonderful building off to its full glory.  Magnificent.

Our slot together template has been used for this presentation folder printing.  The templates are available to download online so you can create your artwork to fit.  I love the 1950's retro design of this printed folder - it was not very easy to get a great picture showing the cover and inside so I hope you can see it! 

We have a special offer on presentation folder printing running until end of January so now would be a good time to order some! This one is oversize A4 printed on 100% recycled board.

Greeting Card Printing - something that always piques my interest. As you can imagine we print hundreds of jobs each week and whilst I don't get to see all of them I do like to keep an eye on the greeting card printing we do. It is always so diverse and really interesting to see all the different designs and styles. The picture shows a range of cards from a series of 12 that we printed.  By opting for digital printing on our new Xerox DC8080 this customer took advantage of having more than one design for her greeting card printing.  All very cool and groovy!

A fine example of eco leaflet printing!  A rather nice 6 page DL leaflet printed on 120gsm Revive 100% recycled with vegetable oil based inks.  The design for this leaflet printing has taken consideration of the fact that the recycled paper works particularly well with muted tones and colours and this has been reflected in the design.  Leaflet Printing from ALP starts at £75 for 1000 - at this price it would be criminal not to order some!
