When we launched this site in early 2006 there were very few website promoting eco-friendly products and services.  What a long way we have all come since then! For the benefit of our visitors and customers here a few related, respected and reference websites that might be of interest:

Industry Related Environmental Reference Sites

• The definitive environmental printing and paper website in the UK - PPE - Paper, Print, Environment - is run by David Shorto who is the Print Buyer for both Greenpeace and Friends of The Earth. PPE is also endorsed by WWF - World Wildlife Fund and the BPIF - the British Printing Industries Federation.
• The Forest Stewardship Council enables you to buy forest products of all kinds with confidence that you are not contributing to global forest destruction. FSC certified forests are managed to ensure long term timber supplies while protecting the environment and the lives of forest-dependent peoples.
• The Recycled Products Guide lists a wide range of products for consumers and trade that are made from recycled materials

• The Environmental Justice Foundation raise money for their projects through the sale of designer tee-shirts.  100% organic and certified by the Soil Association.  ALP is proud to be associated with EJF.  Brilliant stuff!
• Everything for the eco friendly parent and child. Eco Friendly Kids provides everything from advice on recycling and growing your own vegetables to fun quizzes and school information.
• More than just a wholefoods outlet, Alara Wholefoods offer green and recyling tips plus over 250 types of organic and Fairtrade cereals and muesli.  Yummy!
• Blazing a trail for organic hampers and scrummy treats is Turnham Green.  Using only organic ingredients and sourcing everything they use ethically, from labels (us!) to local produce and organic farming the TG website also has lots of top tips for a healthy lifestyle.
• Green Mums provides a wide range of Organic Baby Products such as organic skin and cotton products that are free of toxins and better for your baby.
